SEAWATER DESALINATION

Seawater desalination is a technological process that removes dissolved salts and minerals from seawater to obtain fresh water suitable for drinking, agricultural, or industrial use.
Desalination is a high-tech "lifeline" for civilization, transforming an unlimited saline resource into a source of life. Its future lies in creating energy-efficient and eco-friendly hybrid systems that combine, for example, reverse osmosis with solar power.
TECHNOCRATENERGY WATER DESALINATION PROJECTS
"In partnership with the companies AVT Automation Engineering Ltd. and TAF Teknik Arıtma, we have designed and implemented desalination plant projects based on reverse osmosis technology. The synergy of our teams has enabled us to deliver comprehensive turnkey solutions—from design and equipment supply to commissioning and service. This collaboration confirms our ability to solve the most complex challenges in the field of water treatment."
Our Water Desalination Projects
Multiple Evaporator Desalination System
The aim of the project is to reduce energy consumption by 45% and decrease the rate at which seawater is heated for cooling by adding an absorption heat pump to the distillation process of seawater. This will both protect the ecological balance in the sea and produce 90% more clean water with the same energy consumption.
Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis System
Ultrafiltration: There are 2 units with a production capacity of 115 m3h. It can be monitored and controlled via IPC SCADA. Historical data logging and graphing are possible. Reverse Osmosis: There are 2 units with a production capacity of 92 m3h. It can be monitored and controlled via IPC SCADA. Historical data logging and graphing are possible.
40 m³h Reverse Osmosis System
Mobile Water Treatment Systems
One container houses a multimedia filter and a two-pass reverse osmosis system (53 m³/h capacity). Another container houses an electro-ionization (EDI) system for ultra-pure water production (50 m³/h capacity). A third container contains a specially ventilated chemical dosing system. All containers feature special insulation, a fire alarm system, floor coverings, and air conditioning.
Ultrafiltration - 6000 m 3 /day
Our Ultrafiltration (UF) system, commissioned in 2014 with an installed capacity of 250 m³ / hour , is used in our industrial facility operating in the automotive sector as a pre-treatment unit of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system and to meet the general process water needs. Our ultrafiltration system removes suspended solids (SS) from raw water with a filtration accuracy of 0.1 µ (microns) and filters out heavy metals such as iron and manganese, as well as organic matter, bringing the water to the desired quality for use in the process. System performance continues in line with the 2014 project values.
Reverse Osmosis - 1920 m³ / day
Our company, Teknik Arıtma, commissioned an Ultrafiltration + Reverse Osmosis system in 2021 to meet the process water needs of a food industry facility. This system produces pure water from river water with high production efficiency.
The first stage of the pure water production system includes a Multimedia Filter, an Ultrafiltration unit with ZW1500 modules, and an Activated Carbon filter. The Ultrafiltration system filters river water down to 0.1 µm, removing suspended solids and microorganisms. In the final stage, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit with a production water capacity of 80 m³/hour and operating at 75% efficiency produces pure water with a production water conductivity of < 50 microsiemens. The produced water is sent to the facility for use as process water. The production flow rate and conductivity of the produced water continue to be in line with the 2021 project values.
Multimedia Filtration - 3250 m³ / day
Our iron-manganese filters, which are part of the pre-treatment group of the Pure Water Treatment System that we commissioned in 2013 to meet the needs of Industrial Process Water, have been in service for 10 years, with a capacity of 135  m³/ hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
During this period, the facility filtered artesian water containing organic matter and heavy metals, producing 11,826,000 m³ of water according to TS266 standards, and supplied this filtered water to the facility's domestic water storage tank.
